I have a new obsession -- evaporated milk!
Try making tomato soup (condensed) from a can, add 1 c. evaporated milk, and voila! It is sooo much richer tasting than adding regular milk or, ahem, water. I swear, you'll never go back!
Also, I made a glaze for cinnamon rolls this morning, using evaporated milk instead of regular milk, and it was sooo sweet:)
Lastly, I have been substituting the evap. milk for cream, and pouring it over my applesauce...yummy alternatives.
I dare you, Apron Girls! Try it!

I use it as creamer in my coffee! :)
I put it in my potato soup sometimes. I agree! Great thing to have around. :)
