This year for Christmas my parents took us all to Disneyworld. So spoiled! This was my very first Disney experience as well as for my kids. It was amazing! I am having withdrawls and want to go back very badly. It is so magical.
Realistically though, our vacations are usually to visit family. With both my husband's and my family in different states it eats up our vacation time and $$ just to visit them.
This is what we love about Washington:
Mike's parents live in Basin City, Washington. It is a small farming community outside of the Tri Cities. Their farm overlooks the Columbia River. This a portion of the view.
I enjoy the sunsets there. The only thing in the way of the sky line is the occasional water line. Much different from our city living.
The fruit is awesome. In the summers I feel like I'm in the Garden of Eden when I am picking the fruit. The trees are loaded. We love the apples and the cherries. Most of all we love the people we see there. Mike is the youngest of 7 and there are a ton of grandkids. Our baby Garrett is the 29 grandkid. It is always a zoo around there and we love that. ;)
This is what we love about Idaho:
My parents live in Idaho Falls, Idaho. While different from Washington it is home for me. When I go home I love to sit around and visit with my siblings and parents. We love to play at my parents home and enjoy feeding the ducks by the Temple, among other things.

Our vacations are always to visit family, too. We use to love feeding the ducks on the river in IF, too. Good memories...
