Thanks Mindy...

for the reminder that Apron Girls is still alive and doing well...I apologize for my absence...but here's what I have been up to...catch-up time.

School. ONE more class to go and I will have (finally) my Masters in Nursing Education! It has been such a long haul, but I know it is worth it! I have also been invited to be a member of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. Its a major honor and one I am very proud of...(sorry I have to brag a bit).

Work. I now have a new job! I am now the nursing educator for women's and children's health where I have been employed for the past 7 years! I will still work in labor and delivery from time to time, but my primary role has changed. (I knew that education stuff might come in handy!)

Home Life: I am stil busy with the four dogs, and all the rest that goes along with maintaining a home. I recently put up 24 quarts of tomato sauce using tomatoes from my little garden! My freezer is getting ready for the cold winter ahead. (It's hot here in NJ so thinking about the cold winter is almost refreshing!) I also started that Apron quilt of the month I posted about a while back, which helps me to relax!

So thanks Mindy for reminding me that the site is still here. I have missed posting and promise to get better (again).
