So I'll step up. I think its good for us all to realize, we are not perfect! I know I sometimes think I am the only one with a mess on the counter, but I'm not. And neither are you! So here's what I'm willing to reveal. The laundry room might put you into cardiac arrest. So out of the goodness of my heart I'll keep it to myself. You can thank me later. Maybe after I post this I'll go clean up...maybe not.

Kitchen counter still covered with the lunch mess from making lunches for the big girls early this morning. Yes, it's noon. No, none of it is perishable. I think.

The empty milk jug and other random crap left on the table after breakfast: a bag of cereal, a bike glove, and orange piece of paper (I'm sure it's important.), other things. I won't even go into the counter behind. At least the cleaning spray is out.

The toddler's face. I think it's peanut butter that I left out after making the big girl's lunches.
The TV room. Notice the toddler is NAKED (who knows where her diaper is, I'll find it later) and the 4-year-old is lounging in a card board box that arrived full of goodies from Nana yesterday. Nothing but luxury around here. What else? An empty laundry basket, yesterdays newspaper, one shoe (I swear I put them away when I got home from my walk this morning) a ball, scriptures on the couch, as well as a stack of clean laundry. The rest of the house only gets worse.
Come on! Join the fun and share with us!

I'm laughing at your cleaner on the counter. I always feel a little better if my vacuum is out, or there is cleaner out, because at least it appears that I am in the process of cleaning. ;)
Thanks for sharing!
You guys all make me feel more "normal"! Thanks for being brave enough to share!
I'm laughing so hard right now. I totally thought your "Lunch mess - from early this morning" was vinyl lettering on your wall. I was thinking that was kind of a weird saying.
Brenda, I thought the same thing for a second! It totally looked like vinyl lettering on the wall. :)
You guys are totally right! It looks like vinyl lettering. I started labeling my pictures and gave up as there was to much mess to label.
I have no decor on my walls right now! Yes we've lived here almost four months, but all the decor is still in boxes. Maybe I'll just do it all on the computer.
