i promise i didn't die, just been hiding under a rock the last couple of months

hello gals, it's been quite some time since my last post. keeping up with a 6yr old, 3 1/2yr old, and being pregnant this summer has worn me right out (not that i'm complaining, i sleep wonderfully- sometimes). i have been waiting for pictures from my friend before i could post about one of my bigger projects this year. i made a nursery set for her. i am now a pro at zippers and pipping (two of my biggest fears in sewing). and i will never again make bumper pads out of the cotton batting!!!! green foam from joann's ROCKS!!!! so worth every penny, just make a slip cover for them and they wash and dry very easily! i made the bumpers, crib skirt, 2 crib sheets, the quilt, the curtains and 2 minky "lovies". and now i'm kind of mad that i made it for someone else!!! cause i don't know if i have enough energy to make one for me... oh, well, at least i have a great friend willing to let me use hers if i don't get the time or energy. what has everyone else been up to? are you surviving the summer or are you praying for that first day of school to hurry and come? miss you guys, we so need to do lunch once the kiddos are back in school!
