I am in the process of re-doing my "organizational wall" inside my back door (hopefully before school starts), and I'm curious to know if any of you have tried magnetic paint and what you thought of it. I found very mixed reviews online.
I'll post pics when I get it done!

Our neighbor JUST did a wall with this. It took her 14 coats of the paint to make it work. But now that it's done it looks and works great. It just took a lot!
it was a total bust for me but now i see i just need to put 10 more coats of it on!!! i ended up putting chalkboard paint over it. afterall, you can never have too many chalkboards:)
I think if you are willing to make the many coats work, it could be a good thing. After I did 7-8 I gave up...way too expensive for what I was wanting to do.
But I hope it works out if you go for it.
Our neighbor almost gave up after 3-4 coats. She thought it wasn't going to work at all. Then someone told her that you have to do a TON. So she kept going (and counting) and arrived at 14.
Just be sure to let them dry in between!

I have a completely random question. Why makes the banners for Apron Girls? Do you think that person would do a tutorial for the rest of us?
I meant who makes the banners, not why.
I just tried the paint on a few kitchen doors...lets just say I wasn't too impressed...after 12 coats..the entire can on two door faces...it finally worked...The finished project looks great...just use the super strong magnets and it should work great...hope this helps..
rayna, i believe our blessed mindy made the banner... isn't she awesome? ya, mindy, could you please make a tut in all your spare time?
All the instruction I got to make the banner is already on apron girls (posted by my sister Brenda awhile ago). Look on the left side under tutorials and click on "fancy-up your blog". The photos on my banner are mine, so I can't help you there, but all of the rest of it is available for free from the website mentioned in that tutorial!
